Alaina

Alaina Wegner is an enthusiastic new addition to the Allegro team. Alaina brings a unique blend of expertise in Family Studies and Human Development alongside her deep musical talents to create a nurturing and enriching environment for aspiring vocalists.

Alaina Wegner's journey into the world of music began with a strong foundation in Family Studies and Human Development, where she cultivated an understanding of individual growth and the importance of supportive environments through her Bachelors degree from the University of Arizona. Building upon this knowledge, Alaina pursued her love for music and its relation to social and emotional skills, and is currently working towards a second degree in Music Education. Her experience in both fields uniquely positions her to guide students not only in mastering their vocal techniques but also in fostering personal confidence and resilience. Alongside her many years of performing in choral ensembles and solo recitals, Alaina realized her musical talents while directing her college a cappella group, Amplified. During her leadership, Alaina was awarded for her outstanding arrangements and direction leading her group to perform in New York City as one of the top 10 a cappella groups competing in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella in 2023. This experience shaped the musician she is today, now holding musical positions as a freelance arranger, assistant director for the Tucson Girls Chorus, studio recorder, and Arizona Producer for the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. She values mentoring young musicians and providing excellent musical opportunities, encouraging creativity and growth.

Alaina Wegner is committed to helping her students not only develop strong vocal skills but also grow as individuals. She believes in the transformative power of music to inspire and empower, and strives to instill a lifelong love for music in each of her students. Whether preparing for performances, auditions, or simply exploring the joy of singing, Alaina’s students will receive comprehensive training that goes beyond technical proficiency to encompass artistic expression and personal development. Alaina values teaching her students different styles of music, helping them to gain foundational skills in singing throughout multiple genres and exposing them to a diverse musical experience.
